Özgür Tekstil was founded in 1965 in Sultanhamam, Istanbul, Turkey's textile and trade center.

Initially producing for the domestic market, our company shifted its focus to exports in the 1980s with the growth of foreign trade in Turkey. We established our place in the international arena by offering the fabrics and ready-to-wear products manufactured at our knitting factory in Merter to the European and American markets.
Today, Özgür Tekstil, which has dedicated 23 years of its more than 60 years of experience to knitwear manufacturing, focuses on denim and woven products with a vision of sustainable production in line with its new goals.
